Preparation before installation
Sealing Hardware Design Considerations:
A. Using an installation tool which had beed chamfered
B. If there's keyway, it is better to reduce the shaft diameter.
C. Where there are steps, chamfer it for a smooth transition
D. Do the same if there are holes
E. Use guide ring
F. Make the chamfer
G. Make the chamfer
Inspection At Installation Site:
1. Make sure that the piston rod or cylinder has a lead-in chamfer, if not, you need to use a mounting sleeve.
2. Remove burrs, blunt sharp edges and cover the screw holes with a protective film. (Thin, smooth and not easy to break)
3. Remove machining residues such as chips, dirt and other impurities, then carefully clean all parts.
To lubricate all components required to be installed, it is best to lubricate the seals with the required seal fluid.
