The Rotary PTFE Spring Energized Seal is composed of a U-shaped sealing jacket and a V-shaped corrosion-resistant metal spring. Its sealing outer ring has a flange on the back, and the flange is fastened in the groove to prevent the seal from rotating, so that the short and thick dynamic sealing lip can exert low friction, long life, and even in high viscosity It can play a good oil scraping effect in the medium. When it is at low pressure or zero pressure, the metal spring provides the main sealing force, and as the system pressure rises, the main sealing force is provided by the system pressure, thus ensuring a tight seal from zero to high pressure. Its sealing jacket and spring can be matched with a variety of suitable materials, which allows a wider range of uses beyond the hydraulic field, such as in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.
The technical data are as follows:
Working pressure: 15MPA (dynamic load), 25MPA (static load)
Working speed: 2M/S
Working temperature: --100 ℃ ----+260 ℃
Working medium: almost all fluids, chemicals and gases.
Material hardness and surface roughness of mating surfaces
The rotary seal has special requirements on the mating surface. We recommend that the hardness be at least 55HRC, the quenching depth should be at least 0.3mm, and the unquenched mating surface should have a Brinell hardness of at least 170HB. The roughness of the shaft surface is Ra=0.1-0.2um, and the roughness of the static groove surface is Ra=0.3-0.5um.
